Karlo Barrios Marcelo is an entrepreneur, activist and trainer.  All major media outlets have cited his expertise on Millennials and civic engagement.  He is CEO of Karlo Marcelo Consulting LLC, a strategic consultancy with an expertise in marketing to Millennials.

Karlo also serves as Partnership Director for the Truman National Security Project, training a new generation of progressives to lead on national security  

Previously, he worked for CIRCLE, The Aspen Institute, InterAction, See3 Communications, WireTap Magazine, FutureMajority.com; and summer stints at APCO Worldwide and Leadership Conference on Civil Rights. Karlo serves in a variety of executive and advisory positions with such not-for-profits as Advocates for Youth, HeadCount, Netroots Nation and New Leaders Council. He holds a BA from the University of Maryland and an MPP in social and civic policy from the University of Michigan.
