In the world of American journalism Aaron Brown has literally been there. From the Wars in Iraq and Bosnia, to a revolution in Haiti; from the world’s worst mass causality disaster, to the tsunami in Indonesia he has witnessed and covered some of the most memorable stories in a career that’s spanned 35 years.

He is best known for his coverage of the terrorist attacks on 9-11. His anchor work that day and in the days after earned him the industries most coveted award; The Edward R. Murrow award.

Mr. Brown has also earned three Emmys, a DuPont and two New York Film festival world medals.

Both the substance of his work and his unique style has made him one of television’s most respected journalists.

Today he lives in Arizona where he is the Walter Cronkite Professor of Journalism at Arizona State University.
