The percentage of Missourians who have worked with neighbors to x something in their neighborhood has been above the national average since 2006. However, the gap between Missouri and the nation has narrowed considerably in that period of time. In 2006, the percentage of Missourians who worked with their neighbors to x something was almost twice the percentage of all Americans who worked with neighbors to x something. By 2009, that gap had nearly vanished.
