Eric K. Federing

Honorary Director, National Japanese American Memorial Foundation

Eric K. Federing, of Maryland, serves as Honorary Director of the National Japanese American Memorial Foundation, which is focused on Washington, DC’s National Japanese American Memorial to Patriotism in World War II. Federing was a Director of Foundation from 2003 to 2013. He has been listed in Who’s Who in America annually since 2000, served for a dozen years as a senior advisor in the United States Senate and House of Representatives, and is a graduate of George Washington University, Phi Beta Kappa.

Internationally, Eric founded the non-partisan Uni-Capitol Washington Internship Programme in 1999, which he continues to direct pro bono and through which Australian university students are matched to select congressional offices annually for 2-month internships. Professionally he is currently Executive Director of Business and Public Policy in the Office of Government Affairs for KPMG LLP, the global auditing, advisory and tax firm. He is a senior strategic advisor to the firm's management, practices, partners and clients.
