Naturalization Ceremony2010 National Conference on CitizenshipSeptember 17, 2010
Many of us who are natural-born citizens may not recognize the significance of responsibilities of citizenship, since we have never had to take an oath or pledge to express our commitment to our nation or to each other.
Citizenship is a participatory process, and it takes full recognition of the rights and responsibilities entailed to create civically healthy communities. This is why for the third year, NCoC is proud to host a naturalization ceremony to help everyone, natural-born or naturalized citizens, recommit themselves in service and dedication to our country. Please join America's newest citizens in renewing your own vows today. Chief Judge for the District of Columbia Royce Lamberth presides over a a special session of the District Court of the District of Columbia, which will conducted a naturalization ceremony for 23 new Americans.
